Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of the website. Continuing to browse means that you accept them. If you disagree with any condition, stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no government affiliation. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offer a service intended for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or any other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The resource identifies criminal-record channels in Valencia County, New Mexico. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent from government. It does not store official records, conduct an official background check, retrieve a file on request, or submit documents for a visitor.

Its content points to Valencia County law enforcement and courts, the New Mexico Department of Public Safety Law Enforcement Records Bureau, the New Mexico DPS Sex Offender Registry, and outside tools that may assist personal research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on the following rules. You may not:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked tool must not be used to stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or discriminate. Such conduct is prohibited and can violate the law. New Mexico registry information carries an added warning: data from the New Mexico DPS Sex Offender Registry supports public safety, not vigilantism or punitive action against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produce no credit report, background check, or consumer report. Our advertising partners are not presented as services for evaluating applicants, coverage, or credit. Information from the site or a linked tool may not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A lawful check for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come through a properly authorized, FCRA-compliant provider and the applicable official process.

5. No Legal Advice

The website supplies general information, not legal advice. Only a licensed New Mexico attorney can advise how a Valencia County charge, warrant, conviction, or expungement rule affects a specific matter.

6. No Warranties

All material and services are offered "as is." No warranty is made that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dispositions, access rules, sealing, and expungement can change a record after publication. Gaps are possible, and no page should be treated as an official statement by a court, sheriff, or government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to government offices, court portals, state agencies, legal resources, and outside services. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, charges, or availability. Review its terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Valencia County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, changed, or adapted without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from site use, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless against claims or demands caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

New Mexico law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to website use must be brought in a court located in New Mexico. Government records referenced here remain governed by applicable laws, including the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act and NMSA 1978 §29-10-6.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these conditions. A revision takes effect when the updated terms are posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, with or without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only as necessary to make it enforceable.

15. Questions
